Hi Boys and Girls!
My name is Mrs. Hamilton and I will be your kindergarten teacher. Our room is number 19 at G.W. Trenholm Primary. I am so happy that you will be in my class!
Our first day is coming soon. I am sure you are getting as excited as I am. I have already been busy getting our room ready. I have a seat just for you and a special cubby ready for you to keep your things in. Be sure your parents have the list of supplies you will need. The room has a jungle theme and has lots of jungle animals (pretend, of course) waiting to meet you. They always get a little nervous when new boys and girls come to the class. I can't wait for you to meet them.
In kindergarten we will read lots of stories. We will work and play every day. You won't get to stay very long the first few days but soon we will even have time for an afternoon snack! I hope you are ready to come and have fun with us!
When you get to school, I will be waiting for you in room 19. Please look for me and the jungle animals. We'll be looking for you. We can hardly wait to see you!

ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed seeing these first posts on your new blog. First impressions are often lasting ones, and for some people, the first impression they will have of how your class operates will be this blog, and it's an awfully good first impression!
